About DoJo Marketing
DoJo Marketing helps small businesses build a stronger presence online. We design websites, keep them up to date and run the social media and email marketing that brings people back.
Our story
Learned on the job, not in a boardroom.
DoJo Marketing grew out of running our own business. Before starting it, Dan spent years in the home improvement trade, working in sales, surveying, installation and operations, and then founded Thames Frames, a windows and doors company in Swindon. Building that business meant learning to do its marketing properly: the website, the Google and Facebook advertising, and the social media. DoJo Marketing offers the same practical, plain-English help to other small businesses that are great at what they do but don't have time to be marketers as well.

Dan Ellis
Founder
Dan founded DoJo Marketing after years in the home improvement trade and building the marketing for his own business, Thames Frames. He leads on strategy and makes sure every project is set up to bring in enquiries.
Jaydan Wilmore
Junior Executive Website Designer and Developer
Jaydan is from Swindon and has just joined DoJo Marketing, where he designs and builds websites for our clients. He's fascinated by how good websites are put together, and he's happiest when a layout finally clicks into place and a page looks just as sharp on a phone as it does on a laptop.
Away from the screen, Jaydan plays basketball competitively, and he brings the same habits to his work: practise the fundamentals, keep improving, and play for the team.
How we work
Practice makes progress
A dojo is a place for steady practice. We treat marketing the same way: consistent, focused effort that improves over time.
Do the basics well
A clear website, regular posts and useful emails beat clever tricks. We get the fundamentals right first.
You stay in control
You own your website, your accounts and your mailing list. We'll never hold them hostage.
