Who we are
DoJo Marketing ("we", "us") is based in Swindon, Wiltshire. We are responsible for the personal information you share through this website.
Contact us about privacy at hello@dojomarketing.co.uk.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry through our contact form, we collect:
- your name and email address
- your business name, if you give it
- the service you're interested in and your message
- the page you were on when you got in touch
We don't ask for, and you shouldn't send, sensitive information such as health or financial details.
How we use it
We use your details only to reply to your enquiry and, if you ask us to, to prepare a proposal. Our lawful basis is that you've asked us to take these steps before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us.
We won't add you to a mailing list or send you marketing unless you separately agree to it.
Where it's stored and who handles it
We use a small number of trusted service providers to run this website:
- Vercel hosts the website.
- Supabase stores enquiries in a secure database, located in London.
- Google Workspace handles our email, including our replies to you.
Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, they use legal safeguards approved under UK data protection law, such as standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for 12 months and then delete them, unless you become a client, in which case we keep the records we need to provide our services and meet our legal obligations.
Website statistics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to see how many people visit and which pages they use. It doesn't use cookies, and it doesn't identify you or track you across other websites.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us to:
- give you a copy of the information we hold about you
- correct anything that's wrong
- delete your information
- stop or limit how we use it
To do any of these, email us. We'll respond within one month.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
